About Us

Park View Events was created by Geoff and Nargis Soppet in 2009 with the sole purpose of developing a national event to connect the autism community. Having gone through the autism diagnosis process for their son, they felt that there was an urgent need to provide trusted information and practical advice to all those living and working with the condition. The first Autism Show ran at ExCeL London in 2011, followed by Manchester Central in 2013 and NEC Birmingham in 2014.

All Park View Events employees are parents of neurodiverse children and the wider organising team contains many neurodiverse members. Prior to The Autism Show, they successfully launched and managed events in a wide variety of sectors including education, healthcare, local and central government, furniture and interiors, architecture, art and design, hospitality, security, and personal finance.

We launched Autism Learns in 2019 to provide online learning throughout the year on key topics. This proved to be prescient as the Covid pandemic struck soon after. Autism Learns continues to run live and recorded webinars on subjects such as understanding and managing distressed behaviour, PDA, anxiety and mental health, sensory processing, and autism and girls, complementing the face to face experience of the Autism & ADHD Show.

In 2025, in response to growing interest in ADHD from current visitors and the rapid rise in ADHD diagnosis over recent years, The Autism Show changed its name to the Autism & ADHD Show. The new look show enables visitors to pick and choose the information which is most relevant to them, whether it is specific to one of the conditions or when they commonly co-occur.

We have always understood the importance of working in partnership with others to ensure that we fully understand the needs of our visitor audience. This year we particularly thank Ambitious about Autism and the ADHD Foundation for their support.
